Michael graduated from hairdressing college in Kelowna in 1982 and moved back to Calgary in 1986. With over 32 years of experience, Michael joined The House of Toli Salon and Spa in October 2022.

While raising three children, Michael studied in Calgary, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Toronto, New York, Santa Monica and London specializing as a colourist with Goldwell and Redken. A perfectionist with a critical eye for detail, Michael enjoys advancing his hairdressing skills and listening to his client’s stories. He is enthusiastic to have started his haircutting journey in 2020.

Most recent accomplishments/certifications are Masters of Balayage Diploma, Philip Wolf, Amos Barbering and Oribe styling.

In his free time, Michael enjoys cycling, exploring Calgary and visiting his two grandkids and fur babies.
